Snake is the kind of game that reminds everybody of the first time they ever touched a Gameboy. The game used to be so popular, that it was an instant hit with the first cell phones that ever allowed games to be played on them. Despite its old age, Snake is still as loved and hated just like in the past.
The game is straightforward and simple. A few blocks compose the so-called snake. Once you start the game, you will need to deftly turn right and left, in order to have the snake eat all the blocks that appear on the screen. While the game may seem like a lot of fun and easy in the beginning, it will become more and more challenging as your snake turns bigger and bigger. The game ends when your snake smashes against the sides of the boards, or when it ends up entangled in its own length. You may have heard of snakes eating their own tails, but this one is from another species. Once it touches another block from its length with its head, the game is over.
There are three levels of difficulty you can play this game: Slug, Worm, and Python. You will be invited to choose your level of skill, upon opening the game. Once you do that, you are taken to the game screen, where you will have to prove just how good you are at Snake.
This snake is certainly far from being a lazy one, as, once the game starts, it begins moving where you will need to guide it towards the new blocks without hitting the end of the screen. The game is played using the left and right arrows on your keyboards. While it all may look simple at the start, do not let yourself be fooled. The game gets tougher and tougher as you make your snake grow.
Your score is displayed at the bottom left of your screen, next to your level. It gets incremented by one; each time your snake eats another block. The ones situated right next to the borders are the trickiest, so keep your both eyes open. Beat the game and score better and better. After all, this is what Snake is all about!
