Conundrum

Being in a conundrum usually requires a bit of logic and concentration. If you have no trouble nailing problems and you are used to solving them right on the spot, then this game will become one of your favorites.

A fast and steady hand doubled by a sharp mind, are the right tools to play this game. Once you hit the Start button, you will be taken to a screen, where 25 blue blocks are placed inside an invisible square. The purpose of the game is to make all the 25 blocks rise, in order to win the round. While this may sound simple, where just hitting the blocks randomly seems to be a good idea, you will soon find out that Conundrum requires more than just one skill.

A timer, located on the low left corner of the screen, will keep track of your performance. Although this game does not have a score, you will still feel pressed to get a good time, in order to prove your worth.

The game is played using the mouse. Left-clicking a group of blocks will make them rise. You can choose to click only between two blocks, or between four blocks, to find more lucky combinations. You can also rise only one block, but this is not usually the solution, since you have to make all 25 blocks rise in the end. The funny thing about these blocks is that they have different relations with their neighbors, which is why it is so difficult to nail the solution right away.

Clicking randomly on the square may get you to the finish line, but Conundrum is hardly a game of luck. Just when you think you got it right, the already risen blocks will descend back to their places, leaving you in a real conundrum. There is no real pattern to follow in order to get all the blocks to rise, but using your mind instead of pure luck is a better option when playing this game. Do not let yourself be disappointed! After all, if you find yourself stuck, just press the Start Over button placed on the top right corner of the screen, and get a clean slate.
